Learn moreDownload data sheetTOPCOAT 177 UHCR (Ultra High Corrosion Resistant) is an in house developed intermediate coating. This coating is also tough, quite easily finishable, and relatively hard (Hv 500-600) leading to good wear resistance.
All things combined this makes for a coating that is well suited for piston rods of cylinders that are not heavily used but that do require high reliability in severe conditions. The bond strength of the coating to the product is excellent. The coating can also be used as a single layer top coating, providing an inexpensive alternative for Inconel 625 laser cladded coatings.
The coatings sprayed with HVOF are characterized by a low porosity and a high bonding strength.
